On this specially curated guided bike tour, you will cycle along quiet roads, the Grand Canal Greenway and part of Arthur's Way. The now disused canal towpaths have been recently repurposed as joint pedestrian / cycleways and are called greenways.
Visit the quaint Malt to Vault Exhibition in Ardclough Village where you will learn not only about the story of Guinness itself, but the ancient history of the area in which it is steeped. Right beside it, you can opt to grab a refreshment at the newly opened and homely Arthur's Coffee House. Refreshed, follow Arthur's Way to the ancient church and graveyard, resting place of Arthur himself and his family, before returning via the historic village of Kill to complete the loop to Sallins. From here, it's back on the train for the short return journey to Dublin.
This is a half day tour that is safe, suitable for families and small groups, and filled with fun, healthy outdoor activity, great scenery and interesting places to visit.
